soon enough you will be welcomed by the holy halls of the university. With your entrance the re will be new possibilities: the city Ulm, new friends, parties, study times, autonomy, joy, TL:DR: the life of a student awaits you!

In order to not get lost in the new setting, there is the FUESE (Fächerübergreifende Erstse mestereinführung), the cross over of all majors of all first semester students. This event is from Wednesday, 08th October to Friday, 10th October 2025. It happens right after the two days of the ESE (Erstsemestereinführung also known as the tutorial of how to study for mally) which is organized by each of the majors representatives: Fachschaften. But be pre pared, these ESEs are in German language only.

While the ESE is meant for very first time students as the tutorial of the campus, how exams and emails work etc, the FUESE shows you instead how to have fun and how the joy part of being a student works: you get to know students of all the other majors, the city, many activi ties in the city and the many activities in the StuVe and your first student party!
You are also welcomed by the International Office, which organize your very recommended How-To-Be a Student in Ulm. This is the equivalent to the ESE but meant for International Students: You! So please don‘t miss these! No prior registration necessary. The events are free and conducted in English. More details here.
