The Student Representation (Studierendenvertretung - StuVe) provides a connection to the university for you and all students. The StuVe is made up exclusively of students who are active in various bodies.

The StuVe consists of the Student Parliament (StuPa), the Executive Committee (StEx), the Student Representatives' Council (FSR) and numerous other specific committees and units. In addition to the Departmental Student Representations, who are specifically committed to your course of study, we take care of uni-wide issues. You can find more detailed information on how the StuVe works and how it is structured on our website, which you have fortunately already landed on.

The StuVe itself offers many services related to studies, housing and subsidies. In the following we have listed the most important units and contact points so that you can get in touch with us if you have questions, ideas or problems.

The StuVe Office

In addition to general information on the StuVe, the Departmental Student Representations, the university and university politics, this office also provides information on the International Student Identity Card (ISIC). Furthermore, our office also runs a job wall and is happy to help you with any questions you may have.

You will find the StuVe office in N26 level 3 room 320. Our opening hours at the moment are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. You can also contact us by e-mail at stuve.buero(at)uni-ulm.de or by phone (+49 731 50-22401).

The BAföG and Social Counselling Unit

The unit members help you with questions about your own apartment, how to find it, tenancy law, insurance and social benefits. More information on BAföG and student financing, which is especially important at the beginning of your studies, is available during opening hours or by e-mail to stuve.sozial(at)uni-ulm.de. The current opening hours and further information can be found on our homepage.

Bicycle Workshop

The unit members supervise the StuVe bicycle workshop. Due to the construction work on the canteen, it is currently located at Albert-Einstein-Allee 14 near the Kliniken bus stop.

You can repair your bike free of charge in the bike repair shop and the unit members will help you if necessary. Even if it only needs air, air pumps are available to you outside of opening hours.

You can contact our unit members at stuve.fahrrad(at)uni-ulm.de or read more information on our homepage.

These are only three of our approximately 20 units. You can find information on all the units on our homepage.

Always up to date: our social media

Our social media will keep you informed about news from the StuVe, the university and events such as parties and other cultural and interesting offers. Just follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!

This is the most important information in brief. In addition to counselling offers and services, there is also the opportunity to become actively involved in university politics. You can have a say in what happens at your university and how everything develops. We explain how you can get involved in the "Join in!" section.

We now wish you a good start at Ulm University! And we hope that you feel as comfortable here as we do.
